Dear Health & Transition Services Families:
Monday was another big day at St.Amant, as eligible adults received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. It was a successful day and we have couple of happy faces to share of those who received their shot.
Last night was a 1970s dance party over Zoom was held and many in Health & Transition Services enjoyed the music, and connecting with others in the community.
We are monitoring the numbers of COVID-19 cases in Manitoba closely, including the variants of concern that are rising. Our team is continually reviewing and practicing our COVID response plans. Staff are remaining diligent to ensure your loved ones are as safe as possible and we thank them for their tireless efforts and commitment to keeping people entertained and engaged.
People are getting outside into the gardens as weather permits. The warm weather and sunshine has brought joy to both the people we support and staff.
We are so grateful for your unwavering support, feedback, and kind words. We can’t do this alone and it’s wonderful to have you all in our corner.
I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter! Andrew Terhoch and the staff have virtual Holy Week celebrations and activities planned for the people who wish to partake in.
Stay safe,
Sarah Mankelow
Director, Health & Transition Services
