Update to H&TS Families – July 23, 2021

July 23, 2021

Dear H&TS Families,
Volunteer Services has developed a series of virtual activities for people supported to participate in for the rest of summer. Activities range from building a homemade lava lamp, to constructing pillow crafts to making ice cream in-a-bag. More are planned throughout August such as a carnival, a kite making session, princess tea party, an obstacle course, evening movies in the Buhler Garden, and an evening dance party.
Next week, there are plans to take people out for 2-hour durations to an outdoor park, Fort Whyte Alive, Assiniboine Park Zoo, and more! Volunteers will be able to assist with activities outdoors. This will be great for your loved ones to reconnect with volunteers in-person.
Have a great weekend,
Pam Dussome
