Update to St.Amant Families – March 18, 2022

March 18, 2022

Well, it feels like spring has sprung and there’s a different energy in the air.
This is a time for compassion as everyone is finding their way forward with no more mask or vaccination restrictions in the community. I want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding as we move slowly forward with the goal of keeping everyone as safe as possible and for continuing to follow the PPE protocols when you visit your family members.
Some things we’re looking forward to:

  • Health & Transition Services is welcoming some volunteers back and hosting a Tailgate Party for a Manitoba Moose Game in April.
  • Plans are in the works for a staff and volunteer recognition event – we always include people we support to join in the fun. We are looking at planning smaller outdoor events in a few locations in June.
  • St.Amant Foundation is planning to host an in-person Free the Spirit Festival in September.

We believe that having things to look forward to is important. I hope that you are feeling the same sense of cautious optimism that we are!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
