Local Celebrities Face-Off At Celebrity Wrap Battle 2

December 17, 2014

Tomorrow, local celebrities will gather at St. Vital Centre for our second #CelebrityWrapBattle. In teams of two they will face off in Minute To Win It-style holiday games. Round 1 at 11am; Round 2 at noon on stage in the food hall at St. Vital Centre.

The battle is planned to raise awareness of the St.Amant Foundation‘s Gift Wrap & Coat Check Program. Located in a storefront by London Drugs, volunteers will wrap gifts and check coats from open to close until December 24 and check your coats on Boxing Day. The program raises money for children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism across the province.
”I’m always amazed at the wonderful volunteers who bring their friends and families to wrap gifts during such a busy time of year, this program would not be possible without them! I also want to say thank you to everyone who already had their gifts wrapped this year,” said Juliette Mucha, Foundation Director.
Now in our fifth year, and sponsored by Investors Group Winnipeg South Regional Office and St. Vital Centre, this service raised over $24,000 last year for projects at St.Amant. When braving the cold to get that perfect gift remember to venture to St. Vital Centre to have it wrapped up.
